Troy firm's services translate into global outreach
A Troy language company is trying to increase the region's competitiveness by ensuring that Metro Detroiters don't get lost in the translation of a global economy.

For 27 years, PALS International has offered cross-cultural training, accent reduction services and language classes for Americans doing business with the non-Anglophone world. The most popular classes lately have been for Italian, following Fiat's taking control of Chrysler, and Spanish because Mexico is a hot spot for automakers and suppliers doing business under the North American Free Trade Agreement, PALS academic coordinator Cindy Poole said.
